Elite Pools and Outdoors is a local, family owned business serving the West Georgia and East Alabama area. We pride ourselves on relationships, quality, and trust.

Quentin Meherg is the owner and founder of Elite Pools and Outdoors. With over 15 years of experience in the pool business, he decided to open his own business in 2021. 

Our goal with Elite Pools and Outdoors is to focus on the quality of our pool builds over the quantity. As a family owned business, it’s our mission to create a place in your own backyard that allows you to make memories with your family!

Our Services

Here at Elite Pools and Outdoors, we specialize in inground, gunite pools but also renovating existing pools, service calls, opening and closing pools, liner replacements and pool cleaning services.

  • Gunite: This is the most common pool built in our area. The gunite pool is the most versatile when it

    comes aesthetics options such as the tile, coping, and plaster. This is considered to be your lifetime pool.

    -Coping Options: poured cantilever, rock, travertine and bluestone.

    -Decking options: Concrete, stamped and colored, pavers and travertine.

  • Removing the cover and winterizing plugs. Adding 5# of shock and a bottle of Algae Control. Brushing walls and floors of the pool. Start up of the pool if the water is at the adequate level. (this does not include balancing chemicals).

  • Drain the pool to the appropriate level. Add winter plugs, gizmos, #5 of shock and a bottle of Algae control. Brush the walls and floors, dip out leaves as long as it is not excessive. Install cover (if you do not have the wither plugs or gizmos there will be an extra charge).

  • Includes us coming out to the home to diagnose the problem. There will be an extra charge for the parts that are needed to fix the problem. We will call and let you know what is needed and if you want to proceed we will get the parts ordered.

    -Pump Replacements

    - Filter Cleanings: Both DE and cartridge.

    -Sand Change: Taking out the old sand and replacing it with new sand.

    -Automation

    -Adding or replacing cleaners

  • The cost will depend on the size and shape of the pool. We custom measure all

    pools to make sure that the liners fits properly. This includes the replacement of the eyeballs, skimmer face plate and stainless steel screws.
